How does it work?
Squeeze the body of the bottle and liquid rises into the measuring chamber at the top, which holds exactly 30ml. Tip it into your glass and you've poured a single. It's all done with one hand and takes about a second once you've got the knack.

How much does it hold?
700ml if you fill it right to the top, or 550ml if you're loading it from the bottom, which is how most people do it. That's a bit under a standard 700ml spirit bottle either way.

Is 30ml really a standard drink?
Yes, for spirits at 40% alcohol. In Australia one standard drink is 10 grams of alcohol, which works out to a 30ml nip of standard spirits. If you're pouring something stronger or weaker, the millilitres are still exact but the standard drink count will shift.

Can I pour a double?
Just squeeze twice. Two chambers of 30ml gives you 60ml, which is where the Double Shot model in the range comes in handy if that's your usual pour.

Which size should I get?
This 700ml is the everyday one and the best all-rounder. The 1 Litre XL suits a group or a long weekend, the Mini is made for a handbag or a golf bag, and the Big Shot and Double Shot pour larger measures if a single isn't your style. Can I take it to a festival?
That depends entirely on the event. Plenty of festivals and campgrounds have a no-glass policy, which is exactly what this bottle solves, but many don't allow you to bring your own alcohol at all. Always check the event's conditions of entry first.

How do I clean it?
Warm soapy water and a rinse. Give the measuring chamber a good flush through, particularly if you've had anything sweet or syrupy in it, and let it air dry with the lid off.

Can I use it for something other than spirits?
Absolutely. Cordial concentrate, olive oil, sauces or anything you'd want to portion accurately. The measure doesn't care what's in it.
