Series 2 is the Chameleon Series, and the name is doing real work. Turn one of these in the light and the surface shifts and flashes between two colours, so the thing in your hand never quite settles on what it is. It's the sort of effect that stops people mid-sentence when you hand it to them.

Inside every box is one mystery polyhedron. It might be a tetrahedron, a cube, an octahedron, a dodecahedron, an icosahedron, or the seven-sided pentagonal prism. Each of the six shapes comes in green and purple, gold and pink, blue and purple, plus a rare variant. That's 24 combinations in total, six of them secret rares, and no way to know which one you've got until the box is open.

The squish itself is the part people underestimate. It's firm, so a quick squeeze barely moves it, but hold steady pressure and it slowly gives way before springing back to its exact geometric shape. Sharp corners, clean edges, every single time. That slow yield is genuinely addictive and it's a completely different feel to a soft stress ball.

No, and that's the entire idea. Every box is sealed and what's inside is random, so you find out when you open it. If you're buying more than one, duplicates can happen.

Six of the 24 combinations are secret rare variants, and there's no way to identify one before opening. That's rather the point, and pulling one is genuinely lucky.

Does Series 2 work with Series 1?
They're separate series with different finishes, so Series 1 won't appear in a Series 2 box. Plenty of people collect both, since the Chameleon colour shift is a different effect to what Series 1 does.

Is it suitable for a 6 year old?
Six is the stated age. It's a single solid piece with nothing to come apart, though it's not suitable for under 3s and should be used with adult supervision.

Is it just for kids?
Not remotely. The firm resistance makes it a genuinely good desk fidget, and the colour shift means it gets picked up by everyone who walks past. A fair few of these end up with the adult who bought them.
