A brilliant everyday size without feeling small. The frank green Ceramic Reusable Drink Bottle holds 1 litre, or 1,000mL / 34oz, which is the sweet spot if you are forever refilling a smaller bottle but do not want to lug a 2L around. It comes ready to use with the straw lid, straw and silicone carry strap.

The body is premium stainless steel with triple wall vacuum insulation, keeping drinks cold for up to 20 hours or hot for up to 8. The inside is ceramic lined rather than bare metal, which is the part worth paying for. Water tastes clean, yesterday's cordial does not haunt today's water, and it stays that way because nothing stains the lining.

The base works with frank green's interchangeable lid system, so if you already own a push button or flip lid it will fit this bottle, and anything you buy later will too.

Colours

Current colours are Chocolate, Lilac Haze, Midnight Black, Mint Gelato, Buttermilk, Sky Blue, Deep Ocean, Blushed and Moondust, plus Bubblegum and Peppermint. Star Glow and Solar Glow are the GLOW finishes, which glow in the dark once they have had some bright light on them. There are also two colour combinations, Rainbow with a Cloud lid and Silver with a Blushed lid, and the Flamingo I Am Confident and Aqua I Am Strong designs.

Lid colour and finish varies depending on the combination you choose from the dropdown.

Looking after it

Hand wash the base in warm soapy water and let it dry fully before putting it back together. The lid, straw and removable parts can go in the dishwasher, and are worth washing often if you use it for anything other than water. Never put the base in the microwave.

For the GLOW finishes, leave it somewhere bright to charge. It glows strongest at first and settles into a softer afterglow.

Common questions

How much does the frank green 1L bottle hold?
One litre, which is 1,000mL or roughly 34oz. A useful step up from an everyday bottle without being as unwieldy as the 2L.

Does it actually keep water cold?
Up to 20 hours cold, or up to 8 hours hot, thanks to the triple wall vacuum insulation. The outside stays dry rather than sweating on your desk.

Is the inside really ceramic?
Yes. Stainless steel body, ceramic lined interior. That is what stops the metallic taste you get from a plain steel bottle.

What are the GLOW colours?
Star Glow and Solar Glow. They glow in the dark after being left in bright light, which is a bit of fun for campers and night owls.

Will it fit in my car cup holder?
It depends on the car. A litre bottle is wide, and some holders take it happily while others will not. If yours is one of the stubborn ones, the frank green silicone cup holder sorts it out and we stock those too.

Can I use a different frank green lid with it?
Yes. All frank green drink bottle lids are interchangeable, so you can swap between straw, push button and flip lids on the same bottle.

Can it go in the dishwasher?
The lid, straw and removable parts can. The bottle base is hand wash only, which takes a minute and keeps both the lining and the outer finish looking new.

Is it microwave safe?
No. Stainless steel must never go in a microwave.
