The muk mat is UV protected, but like all recycled plastic turf, it can be damaged by intense, focused heat caused by refracted light from materials like glass, stainless steel or aluminium checker plate. This is rare, but it’s best to avoid placing the mat where concentrated reflections occur.
You can leave your muk mat attached to your steps outside – it’s designed to handle dew, damp and everyday weather.
