The first time you fold one of these, you'll do it about forty more times before you look up.

Pivot is a flexagon, which is a lovely word for a very simple idea: a ring of soft silicone triangles that folds in on itself, over and over, with no end point. There's no goal, no puzzle to solve and nothing to get right. You just keep turning it through, and it keeps going. That's the whole appeal, and it's far more absorbing than it has any right to be.
The material is what lifts it. Premium soft silicone with a bit of give, so the fold has a gentle resistance rather than a snap, and it feels warm in the hand rather than plasticky. And it's completely silent. No clicks, no pops, nothing. That makes it one of the very few fidgets you can genuinely use in a meeting, a classroom or a quiet carriage without anyone knowing it's there.
At roughly 7cm across it sits comfortably in one hand and disappears into a pocket or a pencil case. Four colourways to pick from, each a soft graded palette rather than anything loud, which is part of why it reads as a desk object instead of a toy.
If you already know our Speks Odds, this is the other end of the same idea. Odds are weighty and textured, all about the palm. Pivot is light and endlessly moving, all about the fingers. Plenty of people keep one of each.

1 x Speks Pivot flexagon in your chosen colourway
Brand: Speks
Product Type: Fidget Toy
Material: 100% silicone
Size: Approximately 70mm x 70mm
Sound: Silent
Colours: Four colourways available
Age: Not suitable for children under 3
Care: Wash with soap and water, dry with a clean cloth
⚠️ Please note: Not suitable for children under 3 years. Pivot is designed for light fidgeting and isn't built to withstand rough pulling or stretching. If the silicone shows any sign of splitting or wear, stop using it and discard it safely.
Does it make any noise?
None at all. Pivot is entirely silent, which is the single biggest reason people choose it over clicking or snapping fidgets. You can use it through a meeting or a class without a sound.
How do I clean it?
Soap and warm water, then dry with a clean cloth. Silicone handles this easily and it's worth doing occasionally given how much time it spends in your hands.
Is it hard to work out?
Not remotely. Fold one side through the middle and it turns in on itself. Most people have the motion within about five seconds, and then it's just a matter of not putting it down.
How tough is it?
It's fine for what it's built for, which is steady light fidgeting. What it won't survive is being stretched, yanked or pulled hard, so it's not the right choice for someone who fidgets destructively. If you're buying for a heavy-handed fidgeter, our Speks Odds hold up better.
Is it suitable for kids?
It's rated for ages 3 and up, so it suits older children as well as adults. Unlike our Speks Odds it contains no magnets, which makes it the safer pick for a younger household.
How does it compare to Speks Odds?
Different feel entirely. Odds are three weighty textured balls with a magnetic core, all about rolling and squeezing in the palm. Pivot is light, hollow and constantly moving through your fingers. If you like slow tactile pressure, go Odds. If you like repetitive motion, go Pivot.
What size is it?
About 70mm x 70mm, so roughly 7cm across. It sits neatly in one hand and takes up almost no room in a bag or pocket.
Pivot and Odds cover two completely different fidgeting styles, which is why they work so well as a pair. One for the fingers, one for the palm. Have a browse through our full Speks range to build a proper fidget kit.
